An energetic, motivated individual is required to be employed in the role of warehouse manager Applicant must have relevant experience in a warehouse environment and these specific skills : Excellent administrative ability and organisational skills Work proficiently on a laptop, managing email communications, spreadsheets etc – training on our in-house electronic delivery note program will be provided. Logistics and supply chain management Strong communication and problem-solving ability. Ability to drive a Hyster. The role will entail managing all key aspects of the Warehouse, with core responsibilities being : Responsibilities Preparing customer orders- overseeing and giving instructions on the preparation and delivery of customer orders Inventory management- managing the receipt and offloading of stock / containers. Checking and making note of any damages upon receipt. Stock control, stocktakes, stock rotation, management of stock variances. Quality Control- conducting quality control tests on stock received (training will be provided) & making records of this and giving feedback to the relevant parties. Warehouse layout, housekeeping – ensuring that the warehouse layout is in order and organised and well as managing daily housekeeping. Supervision of warehouse staff- managing the warehouse team and setting their daily tasks and duties. Logistics- managing of delivery routes as well as planning the off loading and delivery dates of stock received. Safety and compliance – ensuring health and safety rules and regulations are followed. Equipment checks and maintenance- managing the service history and conducting equipment safety checks on the Hyster and delivery vehicles / trailers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
