Introduction Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Administration and Finance Officer to join our team at the Wind Gardens Wind Energy Facility construction site. Reporting to the Site Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial and administrative operations during the construction phase. This role encompasses key responsibilities in procurement, warehouse management, and general administrative support. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Finance and Administration: Establish and maintain efficient financial and administrative systems and procedures at the construction site. Manage project accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and expense reimbursements. Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial documents Assist with the preparation and management of project contracts. Oversee administrative tasks, including office management, record keeping, and document control. Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for project personnel. Provide administrative support to the project team, including meeting coordination and minute-taking. Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate training and development activities for site personnel. Procurement: Assist with the procurement of goods and services for the project, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing. Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage supplier relationships. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Warehouse: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management. Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. Coordinate with logistics providers for the transportation of materials to and from the construction site. Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or renewable energy industry. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to work in Makhanda, Eastern Cape #J-18808-Ljbffr
