This is a 30-40 hr/week contract position in which you will be supporting one of our full time account managers. As a Social Media Management Assistant, you’ll be optimizing and growing social media profiles regularly, crafting social media and blog content, scheduling content, and creating video and graphic content. This will include: Writing, creating and publishing social media content (copy, graphics, and captions for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., blogs) Social media graphic creation and video editing Website Page Copy Writing Providing back-up support for the marketing team and communicating with clients/responding to requests or questions as needed Assist in implementing social media strategies to meet client objectives. Monitor social media channels for client accounts, respond to comments, and engage with followers. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy. Hours and Time Zone: This job is part-time and can be done from anywhere in the world. However, we do require you to work a few U.S. hours per week that overlap with the account manager’s schedule. Qualifications + Responsibilities: We are looking for someone with experience in copywriting and social media management, content creation, or digital marketing at a similar type of agency. Ideally, you also have experience working remotely. Primary Responsibilities: Your number one job will be content creation. You will consistently write SEO-focused blog content, email newsletters, social media content, and guest blogs, so you must have a passion for copywriting and be able to craft compelling messages that support the client’s overall brand through various online channels. Additional Responsibilities: You will work closely with the marketing team to assist with the day-to-day social media deliverables of multiple client accounts. You’ll be monitoring social media accounts daily and suggesting and executing your recommended adjustments based on what’s working and what isn’t. You’ll perform weekly updates and optimizations to client social media profiles and other digital platforms (Google My Business, Yelp, online listings/directories), ensuring branding is consistent and profiles are fully optimized for maximum engagement. As mentioned above, a key component of this role will also be content creation and scheduling social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. Experience with basic video editing for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube shorts is preferred but not required. You will work collaboratively with an account manager to set up and monitor Facebook ad campaigns to achieve clients' engagement, growth, and lead generation goals. You also may occasionally be responding to client requests and providing updates to clients through the delivery of monthly reports on social media performance. SEO and Social Media are constantly changing. We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, willing to pivot, and excited to stay on top of trends. You are accountable for having your own quiet, uninterrupted workspace and a fast internet connection. You’re able to quickly switch from one task to the next, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You’re self-motivated and prefer to work independently. Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.). Familiarity with a Social Media Management Hub (We use Eclincher) is a plus but not mandatory. Who are we?
