We are looking for a Digital Lead to join our growing operation with at least 7+ years digital media strategy experience and a proven track record of accountability owning all aspects of client delivery around Digital Media. You will help build and lead a small team of campaign managers. Developing strong strategic relationships with our client base and partner agencies is required. We are looking for someone who is culturally savvy, has applicable innovative thinking and is interested in solving clients' business problems. Requirements and qualities An understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people/companies are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies). Define and implement Digital Marketing plans and targets. Manage and optimise large paid media marketing budgets across digital platforms and channels to meet KPI targets. Managing Paid Channels to drive high-converting traffic to all platforms (Desktop Web, Mobi Web, and Android & iOS Apps). Develop & implement overall Paid strategy, KPIs, reporting needs, and working cross-functionally across stakeholders. Audience management to effectively target new users and high-value returning users (Platform based audiences & client back-end data where available). Experience analysing and interpreting data, presenting that data and executing necessary improvements, and monitoring and evaluating KPIs and digital metrics. Entrepreneurial and independent mindset who is hungry for the opportunity to help grow a dynamic business. Manage and grow digital capabilities in the team. Strong client relationship builder. Strong project management skills - able to prioritise and work calmly under pressure. Great understanding of touchpoint and media principles; with strong views on digital. Confident to write and present brilliant media strategies. Attention to detail and organised to work in an efficient way. Genuine interest in people and how they consume media and content. Excellent knowledge of standard digital tools, surveys and the ability to draw insights from data. Leadership potential that provides inspiration to achieve the best work possible from direct reports (digital campaign managers) and other team members. Deep interest in new marketing technology and how it is being implemented in the realms of Web 3.0 and AI. Media industry expert: You must enjoy networking and being an active player in the media industry. Good understanding of the SA research landscape and the various studies to profile media consumption. Proven track record of successful client relationships. Qualifications and Experience A tertiary degree is required preferably within Marketing 5+ years experience in a senior Digital role A track record of outstanding professional performance is essential Experience managing a high-performing team Certifications Meta Professional Certification AdWords Google Analytics GTM Experience on the following platforms Extensive Google Ads Experience (preferred) Google Search & Remarketing Youtube Google Analytics (Required) App Advertising - Acquisition & Retention (Beneficial) Google Marketing Platform (Beneficial) TikTok for Business (Beneficial) Meta Business Manager (Required) Facebook/Instagram Ads (Required) Tableau/Data Studio or similar data analysis tools Must have at least 7 years' advertising background with TTL (ATL, & Digital) experience and an understanding of the key departments, processes and structures within a Media Agency. #J-18808-Ljbffr
