Your Impact We are hiring a sharp, well-networked Key Account Manager to be deployed on‑ground in Johannesburg/Capetown. You will be the face of the Payflex media proposition to South African advertisers and agencies - owning outreach, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure. This is not a desk job; you are expected to be in the market, building relationships and generating revenue from day one. What You'll Do Advertiser & Agency Development Identify, prospect, and engage brands and digital media agencies with relevant media budgets across FMCG, fashion, fin‑tech, travel, and lifestyle categories. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of advertiser opportunities tailored to the Payflex audience and inventory. Leverage existing industry contacts to accelerate early revenue and reduce sales cycle timelines. Pitch & Deal Closure Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and media proposals that align Payflex's consumer reach with advertiser objectives. Lead commercial negotiations and work toward signed insertion orders and campaign commitments. Collaborate with the Osmos central team to package deals, set pricing, and ensure proposals are commercially sound. Campaign Coordination & Client Management Act as the primary point of contact for local advertisers post‑sale, ensuring smooth campaign onboarding. Coordinate with Osmos operations for campaign activation, reporting, and optimization. Manage ongoing client relationships with a focus on renewals, upsells, and long‑term partnership development. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track competitor media offerings, local advertiser sentiment, and category spend trends in the South African market. Provide structured weekly pipeline reports, revenue forecasts, and field insights to the Osmos Demand Generation Lead. Flag blockers, objections, and market‑specific nuances that require central team support or product adaptation. You'll Thrive If You Have 4-7 years of experience in digital media sales, programmatic advertising, or retail media. Established, active network with brand marketing teams and/or digital media agencies in South Africa. Proven track record of independently owning a sales pipeline and closing media deals. Strong understanding of digital advertising concepts: CPM, CPC, audience targeting, attribution, campaign KPIs.
