Qualifications Grade 12; Relevant degree/diploma (fashion/textile/production/procurement) ideal 10+ years’ experience in a footwear buying role Must have the ability to perform the role independently Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to East London as required Strong negotiation skills and target driven Good computer literacy including advanced MS Excel skills Responsibilities Take charge and procure footwear products within specified parameters whilst adhering to OTB (Open To Buy), purchasing budgets, GP and markdowns within the business. Manage product processes from conception to delivery of order. Support the needs of the Footwear Department and other functions within the business whilst inspiring innovation and future trends. Proficiently handle all roles related to the buying department whilst reporting on key performance areas. Highlight key areas that aid efficient decision‑making within the business.
