New Business Development Manager – RSAWEB Business, Cape Town. Role Overview This position is for a New Business Development Manager in RSAWEB Business based in the Cape Town office. The role will seek new customers in the Cape Town and coastal regions and is part of the RSAWEB Business Direct Sales team. It works closely with the National Sales Manager and the Head of Business. Core Description of the role This role will focus on the acquisition of new customers for RSAWEB Business in the Cape Town and coastal regions. The role is not accompanied by a set of accounts as the focus is predominantly on finding and signing new logos and handing these over to the account management team after closure and acquisition. Maximize revenue and profit by seeking, planning, and executing an acquisition sales strategy and plan optimized for RSAWEB Business target prospects. Build a foundation for maximizing new business sales revenue and profit‑based solutions. Responsibilities Use previous business development and solution selling experience to grow RSAWEB Business’s customer base. Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets. Attend industry networking events and face‑to‑face customer meetings. Create tailor‑made offerings based on customer specific requirements. Grow revenue for key accounts brought onboard for a pre‑determined period before handing accounts over to the account management team for ongoing management. Identify opportunities within the customer’s current connectivity, mobile, cloud, digital etc. landscape and foster strong relationships to ensure customers are ahead of their competitors by utilizing RSAWEB Business’s products and services. Ability to create meaningful proposals customized to each customer requirement. Ability to aggressively manage the sales cycle to ensure customers are onboarded quickly and efficiently. Effective coordination and escalation of matters to relevant business managers. Maintain accurate sales forecast and weekly activity reports. Achieve set monthly targets. Manage client expectations and be accountable for meeting all aspects of sales targets associated with new business development function. Maintain good relations with internal stakeholders to build long‑term trust. Successful sales track record in a solution sales environment. Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales. Engage with prospective organizations to position RSAWEB Business solutions through strategic value‑based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data. Comfortably interact at the C‑level. Uncover and create new business opportunities through independent prospecting. Know how to negotiate and close deals under pressure and influence at all levels. Qualifications 3‑Year Diploma or Degree level preferential; skills and experience will be evaluated in lieu of a formal qualification. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to delighting customers and creating a trusted environment for customers to engage in. Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems and work with teams to get results. Ruthless on customer service excellence. Proficient in both oral and written communication skills.
