Job Summary The Solutions Consultant role aligns with and provides technical leadership to help customers understand and secure their environments. The role focuses on delivering solution guidance, ensuring value realization, and building relationships across cross‑platform solutions. Responsibilities Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross‑platform solutions. Understand key customer business requirements and position, demonstrate and create high‑level designs across the entire PANW portfolio, creating business value. Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform and build relationships that increase productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility to innovate. Conduct discovery sessions to articulate the technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers. Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption. Lead technical validation efforts based on best practices to secure a technical win in opportunities. Demonstrate strong communication skills through presentations and workshops, simplifying complex ideas for various audiences. Drive cross‑functional collaboration to provide a cohesive end‑to‑end strategy that includes PANW solutions and partner professional services. Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW’s leadership in the cybersecurity space. Identify and cultivate relationships with technical stakeholders to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in pre‑sales or sales engineering. Skilled in at least one of the following domains: networking, network security, cybersecurity, private/public cloud security, SOC/endpoint, or SASE. Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives. Experience influencing and gaining buy‑in from key stakeholders in customer‑facing or internal roles. Proficiency in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements. Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as network security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC transformation technologies. Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions. Experience with complex, long sales processes involving multiple buying centers and multi‑product solutions. Field‑sales orientation with travel requirements as needed for in‑person customer meetings. Proficient in English.
