About The Role We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team, based in South Africa and supporting customers across Africa and the Middle East. As part of our regional services organization, you will work closely with consultants, architects, project managers and customer stakeholders to deliver successful implementations of Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle—from installation and configuration to testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support—ensuring our CAD, PLM and wider Xcelerator portfolio solutions deliver real value. Key Responsibilities Deliver consulting, configuration, testing and deployment activities across DISW implementation projects. Support documentation, estimation inputs and technical content for Statements of Work. Work directly with customers to manage expectations, provide guidance, and ensure effective adoption. Understand project context, deliverables and work breakdowns; supply accurate updates to technical leads and PMs. Perform installation, configuration, data migration, test planning, testing execution and issue resolution. Support knowledge transfer (training, user guides, coaching) to enable long‑term customer capability. Provide specialist technical support for escalated issues and collaborate with GTAC/product teams where required. Participate in communities of practice, sharing lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement. Qualifications Engineering, IT or technical background with experience in software implementation or system integration. Familiarity with CAD, PLM or related engineering/enterprise software environments. Ability to interpret solution designs, configure systems, troubleshoot issues and execute test activities. Strong communication and customer‑facing skills. Commercial awareness of project scope, effort estimations and delivery constraints. Self‑managed, proactive and comfortable working on multiple tasks. Fluent in English. Willing and able to travel within South Africa, Africa and the Middle East, as required.
