Provide support to operational departments and other support departments; this includes assisting projects to design, implement, stabilize and continuously improve the manufacturing- and logistic processes and related systems, including IT. Key Performance Areas Establish and implement operational KPI’s. Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computers. Study operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities. Develop manufacturing methods, labour utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization. Effectively apply change management as per defined process. Analyse and define improvements on current process. Qualifications Required 4-year University degree (preferable B. Eng). Experience and Skills Required Up to 2 years’ experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, logistics or similar disciplines. Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage. MS Excel, MSWord and MS PowerPoint experience is a pre-requisite. Advanced Access, Excel, Visio, MS Project experience will be an advantage. Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and Statistical data analyses Knowledge of stock control procedures and regulations required. Knowledge of Financial planning and viability studies will be an advantage. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans blueprints, drawings, and models. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering, science, and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
