Hospitality Systems Administrator This role forms part of the central Sales and Distribution team within Village N Life. The Hospitality Systems Administrator supports the day-to-day functionality, maintenance and optimisation of the Oracle Opera environment across the portfolio, while assisting with Opera POS administration and hospitality system integrations. The role works closely with reservations, revenue, finance, front office and food and beverage teams to ensure system accuracy, operational efficiency and consistent support across all properties. This position also supports new implementations, property onboarding and ongoing system enhancements. The Role The Hospitality Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Oracle Opera PMS system portfolio-wide, while assisting with Opera POS administration and hospitality technology integrations. This role requires strong attention to detail, a solutions-focused mindset and the ability to support multiple departments in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Hospitality Systems Administrator ensures that system configuration, rate maintenance and operational processes are accurately maintained to support business performance and guest service delivery. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain the Oracle Opera PMS environment across all properties Assist with the configuration and maintenance of rate codes, packages, room types, routing rules and property settings Maintain system structures including markets, source codes, rate hierarchies and guest profiles Assist with system setup for new properties, operational changes and outlet additions Support Opera POS administration including menu item updates and transaction code maintenance Maintain PMS and POS integration links and menu item mapping within inventory systems Assist with weekly rate loading and promotional package setup across Opera PMS and related systems Support annual rate configuration and pricing structure updates Monitor integrations between Opera and third-party hospitality systems including channel managers, revenue systems and POS platforms Identify and escalate interface failures or system issues where required Provide first-line user support and troubleshooting assistance on PMS-related queries Assist operational teams with system guidance and best practices Ensure data accuracy and consistency across PMS and POS environments Support reporting requirements for operations, finance and revenue teams Assist with system upgrades, module rollouts and technical hospitality projects Participate in property onboarding and implementation support processes Maintain accurate records relating to system updates, maintenance and support requests What We're Looking For Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with a hospitality property management system Strong working knowledge of Oracle Opera PMS is essential Exposure to Opera POS systems will be advantageous Understanding of hospitality operations including reservations, front office and revenue processes Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Confident working across multiple departments and properties What We Offer Competitive salary packages Opportunity to work on innovative and impactful projects A collaborative environment that values ideas and initiative Ongoing learning and development opportunities Job Location: Camps Bay, Cape Town Job Category: Revenue & Distribution Job Type: Permanent Experience Level: Entry-Level Job Properties: Mint Wellness #J-18808-Ljbffr
