Key Responsibilities Oversee all site utilities: water, air, electricity, and solar Analyse utilities data and drive cost-saving initiatives Ensure service level agreements and engineering standards are met Manage contractors and ensure full SHE compliance Lead preventative and planned maintenance programmes Drive projects from initiation through to completion Implement and manage asset care strategies Manage budgets, including capex planning and tracking Troubleshoot operational and engineering issues Reduce breakdowns through continuous improvement Oversee equipment start-up, shutdown, and standby processes Maintain a safe and compliant working environment Support basic site and property maintenance (building upkeep, gardens, etc.) Requirements Engineering Degree (Electrical or Mechanical) essential Minimum 2+ years as a Utilities or Site Services Manager Proven experience managing artisans and utilities Strong understanding of:Transformers, Switchgear Compressors, Chillers, Pumps Solar systems Experience managing capex budgets and reporting Strong Excel skills (comfortable working with data and graphs) Experience reporting into senior leadership (Directors / Exco / GM level) Key Competencies Strong leadership with hands-on approach Highly energetic, practical, and solutions-driven Comfortable working both on the ground and strategically Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical with strong problem-solving ability Self-driven with strong ownership and follow-through Ideal Profile Experienced, degree-qualified engineer Hands-on individual who enjoys fixing, building, and improving systems Comfortable leading teams while remaining operationally involved Exposure to property/site maintenance is advantageous Thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
