Role Description Sourcing specialised talent that powers technical projects, with full responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for both permanent hires and contractor staff. This role is the bridge between Delivery and a global pool of talent, specifically targeting experts within the Google Cloud (GCP), Databricks and Microsoft Azure ecosystems. Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire process from initial briefing and headhunting to offer negotiation and onboarding. Strategic Sourcing: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of technical talent across South Africa, the UK, Mauritius, and any other hot talent regions. Contractor Management: Oversee the sourcing and deployment of contractors for project-based team augmentation, ensuring quick turnaround times. Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a consultant to hiring managers, helping them define job specs and market-realistic salary benchmarks. Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of trends in the Cloud (Azure/GCP) landscape. Meet KPI’s on time to hire, candidate funnel, candidate experience and shortlist: placement metrics. Education, Experience & Skills Education required to perform this role Technical competencies are a requirement, so having any technical tertiary qualifications are critical. Experience required to perform this role 5+ years in technical recruitment, preferably with a mix of agency (for speed) and in-house (for culture) experience. Technical skills / knowledge required to perform this role Technical Literacy: You must speak "Cloud." We require a solid understanding of the Azure and Google Cloud stacks (e.g., Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, DevOps, and Platform Engineers). Regional Expertise: Proven experience recruiting technical talent in South Africa and other regions. You should understand the nuances of these markets, including notice periods, salary expectations, and compliance. The Network: You don't just post on LinkedIn; you have an existing network of technical professionals and contractors. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a business of 200 people where processes are evolving, and agility is prized. Adaptability - The ability to recognise, respect, and adapt to cultural nuances in communication and negotiation styles. Ambiguity Tolerance - Staying productive and calm when faced with shifting priorities or undefined workflows.
