PROJECT MANAGER – RETAIL & SHOPPINGCENTRE REDEVELOPMENT Location: Head Office (with site visits across the existing portfolio) Reporting to: CEO Industry: Retail Property / Shopping Centres Bentel Group is one of South Africa's leading retail property developers and owners, developing Strip Malls and Shopping Centres. We are seeking a Architect/Architectural Technologist -Project Manager with strong technical experience in AutoCAD and Revit , capable of managing Shopping Centre development projects. You will work closely with the CEO coordinating redevelopment, new developments and reconfiguration projects across the portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage full project lifecycle for retail redevelopment projects Coordinate contractors, and consultants Produce drawings and work confidently in AutoCAD and Revit Oversee site activities, monitor progress, ensure compliance Liaise with leasing to incorporate tenant requirements Conduct regular site visits Report directly to CEO on progress and risks Store Development REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5-10 years’ retail property industry or Shopping Centre project management experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit (non-negotiable) Experience in redevelopment/refurbishment projects - retail tenants QUALIFICATIONS National Diploma or BTech in Architectural Technology (or equivalent) Registered with SACAP as a Professional Architectural Technologist (Pr. Arch Tech) — advantageous EXPERIENCE Minimum 6–10 years of experience in architectural practice or property development Demonstrated experience managing projects from design through construction to completion Experience on the developer/landlord side is a strong advantage Familiarity with tenant coordination and fitout management in a shopping centre environment TECHNICAL SKILLS Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD Working knowledge of NEC3 and/or JBCC suite of contracts Competent in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent programme management tools Strong understanding of South African building regulations and SANS standards Ability to read, prepare, and review full construction documentation packages PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES A "go-getter" "operator" making the job happen Detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Self-motivated and comfortable working closely with the CEO #J-18808-Ljbffr
