National HR Manager FMCG / Multi-Site Operations South Africa | Local SA Citizen Essential Are you a seasoned HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We are looking for a dynamic National HR Manager to lead the full HR function across multiple regions and partner with operations to build a compliant, engaged, and high‑performing workforce. This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who can operate confidently at executive level while still driving day‑to‑day HR excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the national HR strategy in line with business objectives Manage and mentor a small HR team, ensuring smooth HR administration and reporting Drive labour relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, incapacity matters, and performance management Represent the business at the CCMA and Bargaining Council Oversee nationwide recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes Manage Skills Development, WSPs, ATR submissions, and Employment Equity compliance Facilitate EE Committee meetings and submissions (EEA2 / EEA4) Oversee payroll processes, leave administration, workforce budgets, and hours control Ensure PRP / time & attendance systems are accurate and compliant Lead HR policy development, audits, and legislative compliance Partner with senior management on restructuring, expansions, and workforce planning Support Health & Safety compliance, incidents, investigations, and IOD processes Requirements South African Citizen Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources / BCom HR or related qualification Minimum 5–7 years HR experience, with 3–5 years in senior HR management Strong FMCG experience essential Proven experience in multi‑site operations Strong labour law knowledge (LRA, BCEA, OHS Act, EE Act) Solid exposure to payroll, workforce planning, HR systems, and reporting Experience in retail, food production, hospitality, or fast‑moving operational environments – essential Key Competencies Strong leadership and strategic mindset Excellent conflict resolution and decision‑making ability Highly organised, deadline‑driven, and commercially aware Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Able to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion Resilient, hands‑on, and able to work at pace Why Apply?
