A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Design Lead to drive intermediary experience strategy and design across a large-scale digital platform environment. This role will lead the design capability responsible for shaping intuitive, consistent and user-centred intermediary journeys across multiple products, channels and teams. The successful candidate will partner closely with Product, Technology, Data, Marketing and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences that improve intermediary efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Define and lead intermediary experience strategy across digital platforms and journeys. Drive UX, UI and interaction design best practices across multiple teams. Lead user research, usability testing and insight-driven design initiatives. Build and mentor a high-performing design team and design culture. Own and evolve the design system, governance frameworks and shared design assets. Collaborate with Product, Technology and Business leaders to shape end-to-end experiences. Translate strategic objectives into practical, scalable and user-centred design solutions. Ensure consistency, accessibility and quality across intermediary experiences. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field. 8–12 years’ experience in Product Design, UX/UI or Service Design. Proven experience leading design teams within enterprise or financial services environments. Strong knowledge of human-centred design methodologies and agile delivery. Experience with interaction design, user journeys, service blueprints and design systems. Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.
