SOUS CHEF – STELLENBOSCH Fine Dining We are seeking a skilled and passionateSous Chef to join a dynamic kitchen team in Stellenbosch. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a strong background in sushi preparation and kitchen leadership. Salary: R28 000 – R35 000 (depending on experience) Location: Stellenbosch Requirement: Must be South African Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present high-quality sushi dishes to exceptional standards Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards Oversee stock control, ordering, and minimising waste Train and supervise junior kitchen staff Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and handled Step in to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef preferably with sushi experience but not limited to.
