Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities across mining, agriculture, construction, oil, gas, and related industries. Develop and implement strategic business growth plans to increase revenue and expand market presence. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and cross-selling initiatives. Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and closing of deals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers across Africa. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs. Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, forecasts, and sales reports. Collaborate with internal teams including contracts, marketing, legal, and operations to ensure successful service delivery. Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and revenue growth targets. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality management systems (QMS), and health & safety requirements. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to generate new business leads. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA or Commercial Master’s Degree will be advantageous. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in business development or sales within supply chain, logistics, mining, or related industries. Proven experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior management role leading multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated success in developing markets and driving business growth across Africa. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
