The System Coordinator will ensure that technology platforms supporting on-the-ground activities and IT infrastructure are effectively maintained, ensuring that accurate field data is captured, and supporting Office staff, contractors, nursery staff, and operational managers. This role links field operations with system data, enabling reliable monitoring of data across all the Spekboom restoration project technology platforms, while providing first-line IT support to ensure smooth operations across project offices. Key Job Requirements and Expectations System Support & Administration Provide user support for office, field, nursery and operational technology platforms. Perform routine checks to ensure accuracy between system data and office, field and nursery activities. Escalate technical issues to the Technology Manager and vendors. Data Management & Reporting Collect and validate operational data from SMMEs and staff members. Support field staff in reconciling field and nursery checks with digital records. Training & User Support Train supervisors, SMMEs, and office, field and nursery staff on technology-based systems and IT best practices. Develop simple guides and quick reference sheets for users. Provide ongoing user support to ensure correct adoption of systems. IT Support & Infrastructure Provide first-line IT support for office hardware, software, printers, Wi-Fi, and email. Coordinate with external IT service provider for escalated issues. Manage IT inventory and coordinate distribution, updates, and repairs. Coordination & Communication Act as a liaison between office, field and nursery operations and the Technology Manager. Provide feedback on field system challenges and improvement opportunities.
