Dura Equipment Sales is looking for a dynamic, self‑motivated, and results‑driven Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling new, used, and refurbished earthmoving equipment, including wheel loaders, excavators, and other heavy machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of the earthmoving industry, excellent relationship‑building skills, and the ability to identify customer needs and provide equipment solutions that add value to their operations. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell new, used, and refurbished earthmoving equipment. Identify and develop new business opportunities within construction, mining, plant hire, agriculture, and related industries. Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers. Conduct regular customer visits and site inspections. Generate and follow up on sales leads. Prepare and present professional quotations and proposals. Negotiate sales agreements and close deals. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Customer Relationship Management Provide customers with expert product knowledge and advice. Assist customers in selecting equipment suited to their operational requirements. Maintain regular communication with existing and potential customers. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally. Market Intelligence Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Identify opportunities for growth within assigned territories. Provide management with regular feedback regarding market conditions and customer requirements. Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports. Update CRM systems and sales pipelines. Submit weekly sales reports and forecasts. Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and on time. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric). Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy earthmoving equipment sales. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of the construction, mining, and earthmoving industries. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite). Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel extensively. Proficient in Afrikaans and English. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Experience selling wheel loaders, excavators, articulated dump trucks, dozers, graders, or similar heavy equipment. Existing customer network within the construction, mining, quarrying, or plant hire sectors. Knowledge of equipment finance solutions and trade‑in evaluations.
