Responsibilities: Payroll Processing - Manage and process payroll for weekly and monthly employees. Compliance - Ensure adherence to labour laws, payroll regulations, and best practices. Record Keeping - Maintain accurate payroll records, attendance, and overtime reports. Employee Support - Resolve payroll-related queries in a professional and timely manner. Reporting - Generate payslips, compile payroll summaries, and distribute reports to departments. Process Improvement - Identify and recommend ways to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy. Leave Management - Ensure all leave requests are approved and captured correctly on the system. Clock System - Manage clocking data and clear exceptions daily to prepare for payroll import. Onboarding and Exits - Load new employees and process terminations timeously. Filing and Documentation - Maintain organized records and employment contracts. Requirements Matric essential; Payroll or HR qualification preferred. Minimum 1 year of payroll experience (Sage 300 People experience advantageous).
