Experience: Minimum 3 years solid working experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance Key Competencies Processing of payments on banking platform Reconciliation of bank accounts Capturing of invoices and journals on Sage Evolution. Reconciliation of general ledger control accounts Preparation of trial balance Preparation of expense schedules. Preparation of supplier spend for BEE purposes Follow up on outstanding accounts payable and receivable Invoicing as per contracts Maintenance of the fixed assets register Collaborate with the Management team to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Resolve all queries timeously Ensure accurate record keeping of finance documentation Assist with internal and external auditor’s queries Skills and Abilities Excellent Microsoft Excel skills must be at advanced level Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines Ability to use initiative Ability to multitask Knowledge Excellent knowledge of accounting software Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
