What You’ll Be Doing Lead high‑stakes client negotiations and deliver end‑to‑end drafting and negotiation of complex commercial and AI‑related agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, contract variations, terminations and RFP responses, across international, multi‑location delivery models, while ensuring alignment with internal approval frameworks, managing interdependencies between Concentrix and client obligations, and proactively mitigating legal and commercial risk. Work closely with the business and other stakeholders to provide strategic legal and commercial contract advice, advising internal business partners regarding contractual terms, corporate compliance and legal issues. Collaborate effectively with senior Legal Department personnel, Concentrix Sales and Account Managers and other internal stakeholders within the region and globally. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including corporate governance, labour legislation, and data protection (e.g. POPIA). Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal policies, frameworks, and governance controls. Advise on corporate governance matters, including director duties, fiduciary responsibilities, and statutory obligations under applicable laws (including the Companies Act), ensuring decision‑making aligns with legal, regulatory, and best practice standards. Provide legal advice and support on regulatory obligations, ongoing company compliance requirements, including maintaining appropriate corporate records, supporting board and committee processes, and ensuring adherence to internal governance frameworks and policies. Manage and oversee disputes, litigation, and claims, including instructing and coordinating with external counsel where required. Provide employment law support to HR on employee relations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g. Finance, HR, Compliance, IT/InfoSec) to ensure legal and regulatory alignment across business activities. Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and client due diligence processes. Deliver legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders to drive compliance and risk awareness. Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess impact on the business. Contribute to business strategy by enabling transactions, supporting deal structuring, and balancing legal risk with commercial objectives. What You’ll Need LLB degree (or equivalent) and admitted attorney in South Africa, with strong in‑house legal experience providing broad, commercially focused advice across multiple legal areas. Minimum of 8-10 years post‑qualification experience. Significant experience in high‑stakes commercial contracting and negotiations, particularly within international outsourcing, BPO or technology‑enabled services, including complex multi‑jurisdictional and emerging technology/AI‑related agreements. Strong working knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and corporate governance frameworks within South Africa, and the ability to navigate complex domestic and international legal environments, including those arising from AI and digital transformation. Commercially pragmatic with excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and advocacy skills, and the ability to influence strategic decision‑making at senior levels. Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment, supported by strong business acumen, strategic thinking and effective use of legal technology and tools.
