About the Role As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in designing, analysing, and enhancing complex systems across multiple business areas. You will work closely with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that are scalable, robust, and aligned to strategic priorities. You will also mentor and guide other analysts, contribute to communities of practice, and help drive continuous improvement across our systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Functional & System Design Analyse and design complex system functionalities, enhancements, and upgrades across multiple teams. Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to produce functional and system specifications. Model system designs using UML or similar methodologies aligned to global best practices. Design and document screen flows, or collaborate with UX designers to optimise user experience. Systems Analysis & Integration Work with architects and developers to design integration files, messages, and database structures. Write SQL queries, interrogate databases, and support with system configuration changes (non-production). Analyse current system process flows and document required changes. Project Delivery & Collaboration Assess risks, issues, and mitigation strategies within projects. Participate in functional design sessions for run-the-bank (RTB), change-the-bank (CTB), and new product initiatives. Engage and collaborate across internal and external teams throughout the project lifecycle. Provide solution recommendations considering cost, feasibility, delivery, and risk. Quality Assurance & Testing Review test cases and scenarios developed by QA. Assist with identifying final system tests to ensure requirements and solution designs are met. Leadership & Community Mentor, guide, and support junior and mid-level analysts. Contribute to the Analysis Community of Practice / SA Forum. Help drive optimisation and continuous improvement across our systems and processes. ✓ What You'll Bring Strong experience in systems analysis within complex IT environments. Ability to model system designs (behavioural and structural diagrams). Solid understanding of integration design, database structures, and SQL. Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills. Ability to lead sessions, influence decisions, and guide end-to-end solution design.
