TenacIT is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join our Gqeberha-based technical team. This role is suited to a technically strong engineer with solid Microsoft 365 administration experience, excellent troubleshooting ability, and a proactive approach to client support within a fast-paced MSP environment. You’ll work across multiple client environments supporting Microsoft 365 platforms, desktop infrastructure, escalated technical incidents, project implementations, and cloud migrations, while contributing to service excellence, operational improvement, and long-term client success. Key Responsibilities Provide senior‑level technical support across multiple client environments Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Microsoft 365, desktop, and infrastructure‑related incidents Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including user, mailbox, and service configuration Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, mail flow, spam filtering, mail tracing, and DNS‑related troubleshooting Configure and support desktop environments, software deployments, and end‑user systems Perform endpoint management, patching, monitoring, and maintenance via RMM platforms Support Microsoft 365 migrations, onboarding projects, and technical implementations Work with endpoint security and related security tooling to maintain secure and stable client environments Perform root cause analysis on recurring technical issues and recommend long‑term improvements Maintain accurate technical documentation across client environments Contribute to process improvement and internal operational efficiencies Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers where required Technical Experience Required Strong hands‑on experience in: Microsoft 365 Administration Exchange Online DNS & Mail Flow Troubleshooting Mailbox Management & Mail Tracing Endpoint Support (Windows desktop environments) Patch Management Antivirus & Endpoint Security Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) Platforms Remote Support Tools Desktop and end‑user support in business environments Troubleshooting across multiple client environments Advantageous experience: SharePoint Online Microsoft Teams Administration Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant onboarding Project implementation within an MSP or managed services environment Requirements and Qualifications 2–3 year IT Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred A+ and N+ advantageous Microsoft certifications advantageous Experience 4–5+ years in an IT support, systems engineering, or MSP environment Proven Microsoft 365 administration experience Experience supporting multiple client environments Experience managing escalated incidents through to resolution Exposure to project implementation and cloud migration work is preferred About You You’ll likely thrive in this role if you: Have a strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset Are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of technical outcomes Communicate confidently with clients and internal teams Can manage competing priorities across multiple environments Enjoy solving complex technical problems Take pride in delivering a high standard of service Are proactive, accountable, and detail‑oriented Enjoy mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers Have a mindset of continuous improvement What We Offer Exposure to a broad range of Microsoft 365 environments and client infrastructures Opportunity to work across both support and project‑based engineering work Technical ownership and autonomy within a collaborative engineering team Diverse client environments with meaningful technical variety Opportunities to contribute to projects, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives A competitive market‑related remuneration package aligned to experience, technical capability, and overall fit for the role About TenacIT TenacIT is a managed services provider delivering tailored ICT solutions through best‑in‑class technologies to businesses across a diverse client base.
