Minimum of 3+ years’ retail or shop floor experience within the leather merchant industry. Matric (Grade 12) qualification is essential. Tertiary education is advantageous. Strong understanding of sales and marketing systems within a retail environment. Demonstrated ability to deliver results with a proven track record of success. Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while being a strong team player. Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team effectively. High level of emotional intelligence. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle preferred. DUTIES Provide operational support to the Retail Sales Team. Oversee the effective and efficient day‑to‑day running of the Retail Sales Team, ensuring high standards of housekeeping, customer service, and achievement of budgeted sales. Responsible for growing the existing customer database. Accountable for an individual sales target and acting as a role model in face‑to‑face sales and customer service excellence.
