We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Workshop Controller to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting workshop operations, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring efficiency, productivity, and technician performance within the workshop environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of earthmoving machinery, excellent coordination skills, and proven supervisory or management experience within a workshop or heavy equipment environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support the daily operations of the workshop Issue and monitor daily tasks to workshop technicians Manage and administer job cards accurately and timeously Capture and monitor technician overtime Assist management with workshop KPI tracking and reporting Support technician productivity, discipline, attendance, and overall wellness Ensure work is completed according to company standards and safety procedures Liaise with workshop management regarding operational requirements and progress Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment Provide operational support to ensure minimal downtime and improved workshop efficiency Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a workshop environment Supervisory or management experience within a workshop or technical environment Strong understanding of earthmoving and mining equipment Experience working with job cards, workshop administration, and technician coordination Computer literacy (MS Office and workshop systems advantageous) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Preferred Skills & Attributes Strong people management and team coordination skills Attention to detail and strong administrative capability Problem-solving and decision-making ability Good understanding of workshop productivity and KPI management Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
