Purpose As the Revenue Lead Strategy & Growth, you will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end revenue strategy for the Chief Product and Scheme Office. This role drives sustainable revenue growth by optimising pricing, unlocking new revenue opportunities, enhancing customer value, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes. You will balance strategic leadership, advanced analytics, and market insight to grow revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen competitive positioning in a regulated, scheme-based environment. You will engage with the following stakeholders: Heads of Scheme and Product Sales and Distribution Leadership Marketing and Customer Experience teams Finance teams Executive Committee External stakeholders (Clients, regulators, auditors, partners) Key Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Growth Leadership Define and lead the integrated revenue growth strategy across schemes and product portfolios. Own revenue performance outcomes, including growth targets, market expansion, and profitability. Identify and unlock new revenue streams, including product innovation, partnerships, and channel expansion. Translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive dynamics into actionable growth strategies. Align revenue initiatives with enterprise goals and long‑term sustainability. Go-to-Market Lead and optimise go-to-market (GTM) strategies across products and schemes. Partner with Sales and Marketing to strengthen customer acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion. Define and refine customer segmentation strategies to maximise revenue per segment. Drive the development of differentiated value propositions aligned to client and member needs. Optimise channel strategy to enhance reach, conversion, and growth across traditional and emerging channels. Pricing & Revenue Optimisation Design and implement data-driven pricing and monetisation strategies that maximise revenue while ensuring affordability and competitiveness. Lead pricing strategy across the product lifecycle, including packaging, bundling, and benefit design. Drive revenue optimisation initiatives, including upsell, cross-sell, and yield management. Monitor and manage revenue performance, identifying leakage, margin erosion, and growth opportunities. Ensure pricing strategies remain compliant with regulatory frameworks while supporting growth objectives. Product & Scheme Revenue Enablement Partner with Product, Finance, and Strategy teams to ensure all offerings are commercially viable and revenue-generating. Provide strategic input into product design, benefit structures, and network models to enhance revenue outcomes. Evaluate product and scheme performance across their lifecycle, optimising for growth and profitability. Support innovation by embedding commercial and revenue considerations into early‑stage design. Revenue Analytics & Insights Develop and oversee revenue analytics frameworks: Revenue growth Customer acquisition & retention Lifetime value (LTV) Conversion rates Revenue per customer/segment Build advanced forecasting and scenario models to inform strategic decisions. Generate actionable insights to improve performance across the revenue funnel. Enable data-driven decision-making across operational teams. Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion Identify and develop strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and market access. Strengthen market positioning through clear differentiation and competitive strategy. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging market opportunities. Shape responses to new entrants and evolving customer expectations. Governance, Compliance & Sustainability Ensure revenue strategies, pricing models, and growth initiatives align with regulatory requirements and governance frameworks. Balance growth ambitions with financial sustainability and member value. Engage with regulators, auditors, and governance bodies where required. Qualifications & Knowledge Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – Essential Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategy, or related field – Advantageous Strong understanding of: Revenue strategy and growth frameworks Pricing and monetisation models Scheme-based or regulated business environments Market dynamics and customer behaviour Experience Minimum 10 years’ experience in revenue and growth strategy or financial leadership roles At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services or a regulated environment Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth Strong experience in: Revenue analytics and performance management Pricing strategy and optimisation Cross‑functional leadership (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance) Key Competencies Strategic thinking Revenue growth mindset and results orientation Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills Stakeholder influence at executive and board level Strong communication and storytelling capability Innovation and problem‑solving Execution excellence and accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
