Job Description dhk Interior Design is a vibrant and dynamic team of interior designers who are breaking the mould of what makes great design. We don’t believe in designing for trends. Atechnically skilled Interior Designer who excels in both design and technical drawing and is also experienced and capable of managing projects independently. This role focuses on detailed project documentation and oversight during construction, requiring excellent internal and external communication and presentation skills, demonstrating a strong grasp of technical feasibility. Experience in Hospitality, Retail, and Commercial sectors is a must. Roles and responsibilities: Taking ownership of and responsibility for projects from inception to handover. Technical design development in adherence with regulations. Generating technical and construction documentation package. Liaising with suppliers, site and project manager. Facilitating project handovers Supporting the growth and development of the business Qualifications Experience, skills and expertise required: Tertiary Technical Interior Design qualification. 5 – 7 years' experience working with corporate interior design and space planning. Clear understanding of construction methods Extensive knowledge of the local supplier market and service delivery in SA. A consistent and methodical approach to work including following up. The ability to collaborate with a team and be flexible and adaptable. Excellent communication skills (in English) and presentation skills ExcellentAutoCad, Sketchup and Revit skills are essential.
