For more information, visit Responsibilities Job Overview: Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety System. Perform Quality control checks on incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished products Assist with the management of PRPs as per PRP programme Assist with the near miss Programme Record non‑conformances and assist in compiling reports Support trend analysis and basic data interpretation under supervisionPrepare daily, weekly or monthly QFS reports as required Verification of PRP’s, OPRP’s and CCP’s Hygiene and GMP inspections Assist with IPM programme and reporting Assist with customer complaints Assist with Outbound inspections Maintain accurate and up to date records of packaging and other trails Must be able to draft documents (SOP’s, check sheets, procedures) Communicate with Suppliers and logging of Supplier non‑conformances Capture, track and maintain quality data accurately Provide administrative support to the QC/QA manager and supervisor Knowledge of FSSC 22000, AIB, IBL standards advantageous Qualifications Relevant Degree or Diploma in Food Technology and or other Food Science field Good basic knowledge of Quality Management and Food Safety Management systems Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry included but not limited to: Integrated pest management, document control, training and development, traceability, raw material/supplier quality assurance Good computer literacy (MS Office (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) Good written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures Willingness to learn and take initiative 1–2 years’ experience in quality control/assurance position Willing to work Shifts PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act #J-18808-Ljbffr
