Position: Electrical Engineer – Transmission (South Africa) Due to significant growth across our Energy portfolio, we have multiple roles open for Electrical Engineers of various levels of expertise. We are looking for Engineers to join our Energy Transmission team situated in South Africa, Johannesburg or Cape Town offices. Key Responsibilities Technical delivery and project management within a team, while also working individually on various projects. Design and deliver high‑voltage (EHV and HV 765 kV‑132 kV) substation and plant projects. Analyse networks for AIS and GIS substations. Act as technical lead on project tasks. Use substation design software such as CDEGS. Conduct lightning protection studies. Qualifications & Experience BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preferably professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). Experience in the design and delivery of EHV/HV substations and related plant. Knowledge of substation design software (e.g., CDEGS or equivalent). Experience with AIS, GIS and network analysis. Strong communication and project‑management skills.
