Duties: Oversee all daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution of linen and uniformsEnsure consistent quality, cleanliness, and presentation of all hotel linen and staff uniformsManage and supervise laundry staff, including scheduling, training, and performance managementMonitor inventory levels of linen, uniforms, detergents, and cleaning suppliesImplement and maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standardsCoordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen availabilityOperate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting faults and arranging servicing when requiredControl costs, reduce wastage, and ensure efficient use of resourcesMaintain accurate records, including linen counts, losses, and replacementsEnsure compliance with hotel policies, labour regulations, and operational procedures Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in a laundry or housekeeping supervisory/management roleStrong organisational and people-management skillsGood knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care, and stain removalAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidaysHigh attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and qualityExperience in a boutique hotel or luxury hospitality environmentKnowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulationsBasic administrative or stock-control experienceReliable, disciplined, and hands-onStrong leadership and team-building abilityDetail-oriented with a quality-driven mindsetAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProblem-solving and proactive approachWell-organised with good communication skillsProfessional, respectful, and service-focused
