The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Security advice to clients; Threat and Risk assessment; Client liaison and professional client relationship; Manpower Management, equipment Management and rostering; Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports; Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints; Ensure that contractual requirements are met at all time; Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code; Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings; Health & Safety Management; Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved; Ensuring that all companies SOP’s are followed; Ensure training takes place as and when required; After hours’ visits and assisting with shift changes as a standby manager; Must be able to attend meetings and take calls to assist with matters of urgency even on rest days; Incident and investigation management; Reporting and mitigation; Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practice, covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems, integrity and confidentiality; Willing to work split shifts Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: Grade 12 (Matric) qualification; PSIRA certification – Grade A; Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position; Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis and counter measures Knowledge of tools or systems which provides access security control; Must have confidence in dealing with the public; SAPS and or SANDF training will be advantageous; Excellent written &verbal communication skills; Bilingual (English and any other South African Language); Computer literate and knowledge of MS office; The ability to communicate and present to all levels and work under pressure; Willing to undergo polygraph test; Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; Driver’s licence and own reliable transport; #J-18808-Ljbffr
