About the role This is a highly outbound-focused role where your primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities within the travel and tourism industry. You will be responsible for actively sourcing leads and initiating contact with potential merchants, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities for the business development and sales teams. The role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with cold outreach, enjoys research-driven prospecting, and thrives on building pipeline from scratch. Your mission Drive outbound lead generation across the travel and tourism sector Proactively identify and engage potential merchants through cold email, LinkedIn outreach, calls, and digital prospecting. Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of qualified leads across hotels, lodges, travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, activity providers and ecommerce stores for the Business development team. Conduct targeted research to identify new business opportunities and decision-makers Develop and execute structured outbound prospecting lists. Qualify leads based on fit, payment potential, and readiness to onboard Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all prospects and interactions Work closely with the business development and sales teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified opportunities Continuously refine outreach strategies based on response rates and market feedback Monitor industry trends within travel, hospitality, and tourism payments Requirements Your profile 2–4 years experience in lead generation, sales development, outbound prospecting, or business development support Proven hands on ability to execute cold outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone) Strong research skills with the ability to build targeted lead lists from scratch Comfortable initiating conversations with senior decision-makers Strong written communication skills (especially for cold email outreach) Highly self-driven, structured, and results-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Proficiency in English required Bonus points if you have Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, travel, or hospitality industries Familiarity with CRM systems such as Zoho HubSpot, or similar tools Experience using outbound tools (Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) Understanding of merchant acquiring or online payment ecosystems (Training will be provided) Benefits Why join PayGenius?
