We are looking for a New Business Development Manager to grow our client base in the Gauteng region. This role is based in Johannesburg and is part of the RSAWEB Business Direct Sales team. Responsibilities Use previous business development and solution‑selling experience to grow RSAWEB Business’s customer base. Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets. Attend industry networking events and face‑to‑face customer meetings. Create tailored offerings based on customer specific requirements. Grow revenue for key accounts brought onboard for a pre‑determined period before handing them over to the account management team for ongoing management. Identify opportunities within the customer’s existing connectivity, mobile, cloud, and digital landscape and foster strong relationships to keep customers ahead of their competitors. Create meaningfully customized proposals for each customer requirement. Aggressively manage the sales cycle to onboard customers quickly and efficiently. Coordinate and, when necessary, Escalate matters to relevant business managers. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and weekly activity reports. Achieve set monthly targets. Manage client expectations and be accountable for meeting all aspects of sales targets associated with new business development. Maintain good relations with internal stakeholders to build long‑term trust. Qualifications Successful sales track record in a solution‑sales environment. Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales. Experience engaging prospective organizations to position solutions through strategic value‑based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data. Comfortable interacting at the C‑level. Ability to uncover and create new business opportunities through independent prospecting. Skill in negotiating and closing deals under pressure and influencing at all levels. Preferentially a 3‑year diploma or degree; skills and experience will be evaluated in lieu of formal qualification. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to delighting customers and creating a trusted environment for customer engagement. Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems, and work with teams to get results. Ruthlessness on customer service excellence. Proficiency in both oral and written communication.
