Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their team within the Food & Beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with suppliers to ensure that the company has access to top-quality ingredients, products, and services. The role will involve negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement processes are efficient and cost‑effective. Responsibilities Researching and identifying potential suppliers within the Food & Beverage industry Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers Managing supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and service levels Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for cost savings or product innovation Collaborating with internal teams to develop sourcing strategies and ensure alignment with company goals Overseeing the procurement process from initial sourcing to delivery of goods or services Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies Gathering data and preparing negotiations in terms of content and organizational aspects Researching suppliers and raw materials and making initial contact Comparing prices and assisting in the maintenance of price tools in consultation with the lead buyer Sending out contracts, checking order confirmations, and informing the lead buyer responsible of changes, if necessary Preparing, creating, maintaining, and tracking contracts in SAP Creating and maintaining supplier and material master data Carrying out efficient and effective sample management Carrying out administrative processing procedures for complaints, in consultation with the lead buyer Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement within the Food & Beverage industry (Flavors advantageous) Strong negotiation and communication skills Solid understanding of supply chain management principles Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Must be aware of the Food Safety Guidelines Must be located in the Wellington/Paarl area Benefits & Additional Information Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience Apply for this role today, contact Ashley Feldtmann, Rebecca Grylls, or Thomas Stacey at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn Contact Hire Resolve for your next career‑changing move.
