Qualifications & Experience: Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. Professional Experience Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in IT Operations or Service Management. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. Experience within a multi-vendor or enterprise environment will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with South African regulatory requirements, including POPIA and cybersecurity frameworks. Experience working within dynamic industries such as Finance or Telecommunications will be considered an advantage. Essential Skills & Competencies Leadership & People Management Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Technical Knowledge Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity principles, and IT service management. Hands‑on experience with ITSM tools such as Jira, Remedy, or similar platforms. Business Acumen Customer Focus & Adaptability Project Management - Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile and PRINCE2. Preferred Certifications ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher (e.g., ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader). Project Management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2.
