Duties & Responsibilities Qualifications: BCom in Accounting CIMA Qualification will be highly advantageous Valid Driver's License Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a financial position Full Microsoft Office package Comprehensive JD Edwards knowledge and understanding Experience in Recycling / Operations / Manufacturing or similar environment is crucial. Team management Job description: Ensure timely and accurate review and preparation of management accounts and reports for management. Manage financial controls. Ensure compliance to VAT, Tax, Customs, IFRS, policies and procedures, risk and implement corrective measures for non-compliance. Maintain the integrity of the financial systems. Manage and lead staff. Manage capex applications. Ensure up to date status of records for year-end including debtors, creditors, and fixed assets for the region. Resolve reconciling items on debtors and creditors. Ensure stock procedures are followed. Approving and monitoring expenses in line with group policy. Ensure adequate policies and procedures are in place. Manage the month-end, year-end accounting process. Budgeting and forecasting. Preparation of the weekly flash. Manage the payment process for waste and trade creditors. Assist with commercial related decisions.
