Qualifications and Experience Required: Matric plus NQF Level 7 Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Innovation, or related field Professional certifications in digital platforms, or IT governance 5-8 years experience in IT systems integration, data analytics, or digital channel delivery At least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing technology-focused teams across multiple domains (integration, digital, data) Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-scale programmes Proven experience in creating and writing functional and technical specifications Experience in digital product management, fintech ecosystems, or mobility platforms Track record in establishing or scaling Centres of Excellence Proven track record in leading digital transformation, system interoperability, and innovation initiatives Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, POPIA, ISO27001) Working knowledge of enterprise data management and security practices Experience and proven knowledge of Modern SDLC concepts and tools, including JIRA, Rally, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, etc Proven application of best practice methodologies and analytics frameworks Overall Responsibilities: The Senior Manager will be accountable for leading and coordinating Digital Channels Centre of Excellence and associated teams. The role ensures that each ICoE drives innovation, establishes best practices, delivers reusable frameworks, and aligns with the broader enterprise IT strategy It provides strategic direction, ensures capability growth, and acts as the key link between technology delivery and business outcomes. The role is responsible for ensuring that innovative initiatives, such as AI/ML in mobility, digital payment platforms, and EV tracking systems, are trialled effectively, delivering measurable value before being adopted enterprise-wide. This role in a high-performing team requires extensive expertise in integration design and development, specifically in constructing middleware services that directly interact with customers for the company. The majority of the work will entail designing and ensuring new services are developed utilising the API-led architecture paradigm. Additionally, there will be administrative tasks associated with configuring integration technologies, as well as monitoring and supporting changes to the middleware services infrastructure.
