About the Role As a Retail Sales Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience — welcoming people into our space, sharing the Sealand story, and helping customers find products that align with their lifestyle. You’ll support in driving sales, maintaining high store standards, and ensuring every customer leaves with a strong and lasting impression of the brand. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience Deliver exceptional, personalised service that makes every customer feel welcome and valued Confidently share the Sealand story and product knowledge Assist with customer queries, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner Create a warm, engaging in-store environment aligned with Sealand’s values Sales & Product Knowledge Contribute to achieving daily and monthly sales targets Build strong product knowledge across materials, functionality, and brand story Identify natural upselling and cross-selling opportunities Support stock awareness on the floor and communicate replenishment needs Store Presentation & Operations Maintain the overall look and feel of the store, from merchandising to cleanliness Ensure all in-store elements (music, scent, lighting, displays) are on-brand Restock and keep the store organised and visually appealing Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries when needed Team Support Work closely with the Store Manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations Support visual merchandising and campaign rollouts Uphold Sealand’s retail standards, including punctuality and professionalism Participate in ongoing training through Sealand Academy What Makes a Strong Candidate Friendly, confident, and people-oriented Passionate about storytelling, sustainability, and lifestyle brands A reliable team player with a positive attitude Detail-oriented and proactive Customer-focused with a solutions-driven mindset Qualifications 1–3 years retail or customer service experience preferred Comfortable working with POS systems and store operations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexible and reliable, able to work weekends and public holidays Genuine interest in Sealand’s mission and products Why Sealand Be part of a purpose-driven South African brand Work in a collaborative and creative retail environment Opportunities for growth and development Ongoing learning through Sealand Academy #J-18808-Ljbffr
