Job Description The role is responsible for managing the full credit control function to ensure timely and accurate debt collection, overseeing the resolution of claims including returns, shortages, pricing discrepancies, rebates, and trade promotions, and building strong working relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams. The incumbent will review, approve, and monitor customer credit limits, manage the credit hold process, and ensure accurate account reconciliations, payment allocations, and effective month‑end procedures. The position also requires achieving targeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), supporting cashflow forecasting, leading and developing a team of credit controllers, ensuring compliance with the National Credit Act and related legislation, and supporting audit requirements while driving continuous improvement of internal controls and systems. Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in Credit Control within an FMCG environment Proven experience managing or supervising a credit control team Strong working knowledge of South African credit legislation Advanced system and reporting skills (ERP experience essential) Strong Excel proficiency Experience dealing with large retail or national accounts advantageous Credit Management qualification beneficial but not essential Qualification Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting Credit Management qualification or related professional certification advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
