Responsible for driving the sales of medical device products within a designated territory. The role is also responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals and clinics while promoting the company's products and services. The role is required to comply with all administrative and compliance (SAHPRA) standards. Sales Execution Promote and sell medical device products to healthcare professionals and hospitals within an assigned territory. Meet or exceed sales targets and expand the customer base within a defined region or market segment. Plan schedule to ensure all planned cases are always attended. Maintain a robust pipeline of potential sales leads and opportunities. Product Demonstration Demonstrate medical device products to healthcare professionals, showcasing their features, benefits, and proper usage. Provide in-depth product information and respond to technical questions from customers. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the products to decision-makers. Stay updated with the relevant medical device technologies and innovations. Stakeholder Management Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with key external stakeholders, including doctors, nurses, medical staff, and purchasing departments. Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with key internal stakeholders, including product specialists, Regulatory, Customer Services and Operations departments. Regularly visit current and potential clients to ensure product performance and build loyalty. Collaborate with other Territory Managers to share best practices, strategies, and customer insights. Market Analysis, Compliance and Reporting Attend conferences and other industry events to promote products and learn about new developments. Track sales performance, forecast future sales, and report progress to management. Ensure all administration is up to date e.g. CRM (bookings, cases, stock, mileage logs). Ensure that all sales activities follow healthcare industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Requirements BSC Human Movement or Relevant qualification Essential: 3–4 years of experience in a Sales Rep position. Background in specialised medical devices (e.g., surgical equipment, diagnostics, etc.). Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools. Experience in working in theatre, solid understanding of medical device products, feathers, applications and benefits (Endo - GI & Urology specifically). Ability to engage with clients, build relationships and close sales. Build and maintain long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions.
