About the role Develop practical engineering, manufacturing, and technical sales skills within a workshop environment. Support design, fabrication, and commercial activities.Responsibilities: Assist with HVAC and fabrication drawings. Operate and learn plasma cutting machines. Execute job cards and support production. Assist with quotations and pricing. Attend meetings with consultant engineers. Support procurement and supplier coordination. Training & Development Month 1: Orientation, HVAC basics, workshop exposure. Month 2: Practical application and coordination. Week 3 onwards: Pricing and quotation training. Months 36: Advanced skills and independent tasks. Software & Tools AutoCAD, Revit, CAMduct. Plasma cutting systems (Starcam/Fastcam). Microsoft Excel and MS Project. Key Competencies Technical aptitude. Attention to detail. Communication skills. Teamwork and adaptability. Working Conditions Workshop-based environment. Site visits required. PPE required. Minimum Requirements South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the YES programme before. Matric. Business Management qualification (advantage). MS Office proficiency. Strong organisational skills.
