Key Requirements Qualified FASSA Actuary (Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa) – essential Minimum of 7 years’ actuarial experience within the Life Insurance industry Proven leadership experience with at least 2 or more direct reports Strong experience in life valuations, reserving, pricing, capital modelling, IFRS 17, and risk management Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills Ability to lead, mentor, and develop actuarial talent Key Responsibilities Provide actuarial oversight across key life insurance functions Lead and manage a team of actuarial professionals Drive actuarial reporting, valuations, pricing, and strategic initiatives Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements Partner with senior leadership to support business growth and profitability Contribute to business strategy through data-driven insights and actuarial expertise Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a technically strong and commercially astute actuary with a passion for leadership, strong people management experience, and a proven track record in the Life Insurance sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
