About the Position Recruitment consultants (R9,000 to R15,000 + commission) are urgently sought for our offices in Pretoria at a well‑established, phenomenally successful recruitment agency. Recruitment Consultants help both clients and candidates with advice on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities. Developing solid relationships with clients is integral to the role. Qualifications Experienced Working independently Self‑confidence Ambition and drive Excellent communication skills – especially negotiating and influencing Eagerness to learn and handle responsibility Capacity to handle multiple priorities Flexibility and commitment Ability to work well under pressure Mentors for trainees Good telephone skills and experience in marketing or customer service‑related roles can be advantageous A driving licence is a MUST APSO membership will be advantageous Work Activities No desk fees No cold calling No role over targets Responsibilities Using marketing and business knowledge to extend company contacts Identifying and evaluating clients’ recruitment needs Negotiating terms of employment Interviewing potential candidates Phoning existing clients to establish new recruitment requirements Documenting clients’ details and vacancy requirements in detail Clarifying and negotiating salary and benefits relating to the role Negotiating fees relating to work the consultant will undertake for the client Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates Reviewing applications, managing interviews, and considering candidates and shortlists Monitoring candidates once placed Collecting feedback from employers on the performance of candidates who have previously been placed with them Maintaining current records and personal statistics for review against performance targets Acting as a mentor, instructing, and training junior consultants Attending recruitment fairs and other events to expand the client base and develop new business Conducting one‑to‑one consultations with clients – usually in‑depth consultations of around one hour’s duration, with several follow‑up sessions thereafter Advising on career change or development by enabling clients to assess their skills and abilities, explore learning options, and create action plans to implement decisions Helping people identify their skills, abilities and interests and making decisions suitable to their lifestyle and circumstances Administering psychometric tests (aptitude, personality, interests, learning styles, motivation, team dynamics) Interpreting psychometric test results and providing detailed personal feedback Making recommendations and discussing options based on psychometric results and other client information to assist informed decisions Providing information and advice on job search techniques, including vacancy search, applications, CV creation and interview preparation Providing mock interviews and advice to improve interview technique Planning and delivering group workshops covering career management and creative job searching, including organise external speakers Helping staff explore job opportunities through a placement service or agency Carrying out desk research and using the internet to respond to client queries Reviewing, updating, developing and disseminating career information resources, both in hard copy and online Writing articles on career‑related topics Entering CVs into templates Retrieving and identifying CVs from database if required by senior consultants Offering counselling on work and career issues, including stress management, work‑home balance, redundancy and retirement Working with external agencies or professionals on referral of clients Writing articles on career‑related topics Managing web‑based recruitment Application Information Please note: A Word document of your CV, latest pay slip, last 3 months commission slips and proof of placements can be sent via Email to AtripleA Recruitment and Temps #recruit #consultant #job #atriplea #aaaa #J-18808-Ljbffr
