Kendall Recruitment is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager for a luxury property group based in Johannesburg. This senior hands‑on role is responsible for both high-level marketing strategy and day‑to‑day execution across digital and traditional channels. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that drive brand visibility, guest engagement and revenue growth across multiple luxury properties. Requirements 7 to 10 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a senior role Experience within hospitality, travel, leisure or luxury property sectors preferred Proven success in digital and traditional marketing strategy and execution Strong experience in lead generation and revenue‑driven campaigns Excellent understanding of brand management and acting as brand guardian Proficiency in SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, PR and traditional channels Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation and analytics tools Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Degree or marketing qualification advantageous (CIM or digital certifications preferred) Key Responsibilities Develop and implement annual marketing strategies aligned with business objectives Translate strategic goals into actionable marketing plans and campaigns Set KPIs, budgets and performance metrics for all marketing activities Manage multi‑channel content strategies across digital and traditional platforms Oversee editorial calendars, campaign schedules and content production workflows Ensure consistent brand application and conduct regular brand audits Act as brand custodian across all marketing materials and communications Collaborate with external agencies, creatives and internal departments Drive lead generation strategies focused on direct bookings and conversions Manage SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing and performance campaigns Analyse customer behaviour, booking trends and campaign performance Optimise marketing ROI and continuously refine targeting strategies Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, revenue and operations teams Provide regular performance reporting, insights and recommendations Manage and develop the marketing team, including training and performance reviews Foster a high‑performance, collaborative and accountable team culture Candidate Profile Strategic thinker with strong commercial and creative balance Strong leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑property environment Data‑driven with a focus on measurable marketing performance Highly organised, detail‑oriented and execution‑focused Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability Passionate about luxury branding and guest experience positioning Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
