Mechanical Draughtsman (Manufacturing / Steel Fabrication) Location: Roodepoort Start: ASAP (Urgent) Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) Drafting qualification 3–5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman Proven experience in a manufacturing / steel fabrication environment Strong experience in:Laser cutting Sheet metal works Proficient in:AutoCAD Inventor South African citizen Familiarity with ISO standards (advantageous) Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D & 3D technical drawings for steel fabrication Develop detailed drawings for laser cutting, bending, welding & assembly Prepare manufacturing data packs (BOMs, QC docs, material take-offs) Process and manage Design Change Requests Maintain strict revision and drawing control Coordinate with production and workshop teams Ensure compliance with engineering standards and ISO procedures Working Hours Monday–Thursday: 07:30–16:30 Friday: 07:30–15:00 Employment Details Permanent position If unemployed: 3-month Fixed-Term Contract trial option Pension fund included #J-18808-Ljbffr
