Please note: Experience in the following industries is non-negotiable: Metal Manufacturing Stamping Automotive Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Lead and manage production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets Drive continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and operational excellence Ensure production targets and customer KPIs are met Manage production planning, staffing, performance, and reporting Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions Oversee housekeeping, safety, quality, and compliance standards Mentor and develop Supervisors and Group Leaders Manage departmental budgets and reporting to executive management Minimum Requirements Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Production Management Minimum 5 years experience in Production within:Metal Manufacturing Automotive Manufacturing Stamping Environment Minimum 3 years in a Production Management role Experience managing large teams in a unionised environment Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, production planning, and continuous improvement Proven leadership and people management skills Strong problem-solving ability using methodologies such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis Intermediate MS Office skills Advantageous OEM manufacturing experience Welding production experience Key Competencies Strong leadership and communication skills Production planning and operational management KPI-driven mindset Ability to coach, mentor, and drive performance Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume manufacturing environment
