Purpose of the position To support the Training and Development function by assisting with training coordination, administration, record keeping, reporting, and ensuring effective implementation of learning and development initiatives within the organisation. Qualifications / Experience Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Training & Development, or Administration. 0–2 years’ experience in training administration, HR support, or learning and development environment. Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel and Outlook. Required Outputs and Responsibilities Training Administration Assist with scheduling and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and inductions. Maintain training calendars and training attendance registers. Capture training records on internal systems and databases. Prepare training materials, packs, and attendance certificates. Learning & Development Support Support implementation of training and development programmes. Liaise with employees, facilitators, and service providers regarding training arrangements. Assist with booking training venues and logistics. Ensure all training documentation is accurately completed and filed. Data Capture & Record Keeping Maintain employee training records and learning history. Update training matrices and skills databases. Ensure all training documentation is stored electronically and physically where required. Maintain confidentiality of employee information and records. Compliance & Reporting Assist with capturing and tracking mandatory training compliance. Monitor expiry dates for certificates and licenses where applicable. Prepare monthly training reports and statistics. Support skills development and audit preparation processes. Excel & System Administration Maintain training registers and reports in Microsoft Excel. Use Excel tools such as: data validation, conditional formatting, filters and pivot tables. Ensure document control and version. Reporting & Administration Prepare training attendance and completion reports. Assist with filing and managing training documentation electronically. Support the HR and Training department with general administrative duties. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Understanding of training coordination and HR administration processes. Good record-keeping and reporting skills. Personal Attributes High attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organisational and coordination skills. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
