Nature of Appointment Permanent Appointment Salary R321,543 per annum (Level 08) plus benefits Centre Central Office Reference TNC/CO/22-09/1 Requirements Matric/NQF Level 4 Certificate plus a recognised National Diploma/Degree in IT / Computer Science (NQF Level 6) or equivalent. At least 2-3 years working experience within the IT environment, including software and hardware. Experience with IT hardware and software, server administration, desktop, networking and voice communication infrastructure. Proficiency in program installations, help desk operations, and second and third line IT support. Recognised industry certifications such as MCSE, MCITP, A+, N+, Security+ and ITILv3 Foundation are an added advantage. A valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel and work extra hours. Duties Oversee the provision of technical support for the configuration, installation, repair, and replacement of computers, printers, and telephones. Ensure the rendering of IT information management services: plan, develop and improve computer‑based information systems. Administer servers, secure all technology and network configurations. Support, maintain and repair ICT assets (hardware and software) and advise the ICT Manager. Liaise with service providers regarding software licensing, upgrading and procurement. Facilitate ICT training, support IT‑related projects and related tasks as may be required. Manage human, financial and other resources.
